  About Us

The Arts Resource Network provides tools and information to help artists, arts organizations and our community thrive. As a service of Seattle's Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, this site is an extension of our artist, organization and community programs, including:

  • Online services:
    • Arts Resource Network, this web site
    • Arts eNews, our monthly newsletter, providing news about our programs and the arts in Seattle
    • Arts Education Link, connecting educators and teaching artists
    • SPACEfinder, helping artists and others find performance, rehearsal and event venues
    • Events Calendar, lists arts and cultural events for King County residents and visitors, and is a great way for artists and organizations to attract new audiences
  • Public Forums, such as Ben Cameron: Lobsters, Art and Public Policy; Richard Florida and the Rise of the Creative Class; and The State of Arts Education in Seattle Public Schools
  • Workshops and training — through our Civic Partners, CityArtists and Youth Arts programs; and in partnership with other area organizations
  • Arts resource library at our downtown office (in Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 1766, Seattle, WA)
  • Person-to-person assistance, by phone (206-684-7171), and in person

To learn more about our programs and services, please visit us on the Web.

We continually add information and tools to this site. If you have comments, questions or other ideas, please let us know. We'd love to hear from you.
