Major sections of the Arts Resource Network

Find current and ongoing opportunities for grants, calls for artists, competitions, and auditions. You can also discover workshops, paid and volunteer positions in the arts, and available studio, performing, and live/work space.

In partnership with the Seattle Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the Events Calendar allows you to search by date, art form, and neighborhood for all types of arts events taking place in Seattle. You can also submit your own event to the calendar. In this section you will also find listings of upcoming workshops and forums.

Professional Growth
Discover ways you can learn and grow as a professional artist. Find tips on a variety of topics: creating portfolios, resumes, and work samples; promoting your work; approaching galleries, publishers and other decision makers; and searching for and writing grants and proposals. You will also find information about how to handle your taxes, legal, and business affairs.

Organizational Growth
Find information about fundraising, using technology, marketing, working with boards, and all other areas of organizational management. Find available consultants and training, education and job opportunities.

Arts Education
This section takes you to Arts Education Link, where you can find information on how to create arts projects in learning environments. This guide will also help you find artists, arts organizations, teachers, schools and parent groups, and other resources for collaboration and project creation. This section also links you to Seattle's Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs youth arts programs.

Public Art
Here you will find an overview of the world of public art - what it is, how it's created and the elements that go into creating the artwork. Find information on the various types of public art and resources on how to start a project or a program.

Community Arts
Explore the new and developing world of community arts. Find ideas for strengthening the arts in your community, using the arts to address community problems, and developing a project. Discover resources you can draw on to develop and put a plan into action.

Find local and national listings of arts organizations, galleries, agencies, arts service and professional organizations, and other arts resources.
